FAQ

What does KEPT actually do?

KEPT prepares founder-led companies to raise institutional capital. That covers three disciplines: organizational development (leadership, governance, team structure), capital readiness (financial modeling, valuation, due-diligence prep, fractional CFO work), and Deal Architect advisory (the raise itself, run through Post Oak Group).

What is Deal Architect, and how does Post Oak Group fit in?

Deal Architect is the capital-raising advisory track: capital formation, debt placement, investment banking introductions, M&A advisory, and transaction support. It is delivered through Post Oak Group, KEPT's advisory partner. From your side it is one continuous engagement, not a handoff between firms.

What happens after I submit a form on this site?

A real person reads it, not an autoresponder. You'll hear back within one business day. For Deal Architect inquiries the next step is a twenty-minute call to get a straight read on where you stand.

What if my company isn't ready to raise yet?

That's the most common case, and it's the point of the platform. We'll tell you plainly what the gaps are and what closing them looks like. Most of KEPT's work happens before a raise is on the table.

What does "capital readiness" mean in practice?

The unglamorous infrastructure due diligence actually checks: clean financials and a defensible model, a valuation you can support, governance and reporting that hold up to questions, and an organized data room. Readiness is when an investor's process speeds your deal up instead of killing it.

Do you only work with companies that are raising right now?

No. Organizational development and capital readiness engagements often start a year or more before any raise. If you want the company built right regardless of timing, that's the general inquiry form on the homepage.
